Fire safety in a tunnel is a top priority.

The power supplies, networks must be protected even in case of fire for several hours with an efficient system allowing to intervene easily for inspections or new passages of cables (power supply, power, optical fiber...).


The degree of fire protection must be maintained after a visit, even without the intervention of passive fire protection specialists (no joint to be redone, fire protection guaranteed...).



MatPART M0 N3 Firestop Mattress meets the most stringent requirements :

  • Maintaining electrical functions for 4 hours, and under a 2 hour hydrocarbon fire (HCM 120) then standard for 2 additional hours (EI 240)

  • M0 incombustible material (tunnel requirement)

    Soft and light: 50mm thick

  • Custom manufacturing according to the dimensions of the draw chambers
